The Focus

The objective of this programme is to help preserve historical and heritage monuments and sites in the villages.

The Process

The process involves renovation, restoration, and conservation of buildings, architecture, artefacts, etc. This is an initiative implemented directly by SSHT.

The Magnitude

Renovated the following temples which are decades old and in dilapidated conditions:

  • Lord Hanuman Temple, Channapura, Karnataka
  • Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple, Channapura, Karnataka

  • Hanuman Swami Temple Kammavaripalli, Andhra Pradesh

The Impact

The program ensures:

  1. Significant socio-economic multiplier-effect on the local communities
  2. Income generation for the local communities
